You need only 6 ingredients, here they are:

  • coconut flour – creates a soft and chewy base
  • dates – I used regular pitted dates
  • peanut butter – use plain natural peanut butter without any additives
  • maple syrup – can be substituted with agave syrup or honey
  • chocolate – any dairy-free dark chocolate works fine
  • salt – just a pinch to enhance the flavor

    • Hi Annie,
you could melt the chocolate in a double-boiler (preferably) or in the microwave in 15-20 seconds intervals stirring until completely smooth.

  1. Hi there: This looks delicious! Can I substitute the coconut flour for a different kind of flour? I am not a fan of the coconut flour 😕. Thank you!

    • Hi Fran,
      Thank you!
You could substitute it for almond flour, however, you may need to adjust (reduce) the amount of water.
