Ingredients
- 2 ounces (60 gr) raw almonds
- 1½ cups of water
- 1 tbsp whole wheat/einkorn flour
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp basil
- salt to taste
- several twists freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Put the almonds and water in a blender and blend for 5 min.
- Heat the whole wheat flour in a saucepan for about 3-4 min. Add the blended almonds and water, stirring energetically.
- Season with the pressed garlic, nutmeg, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- You can use almond milk instead of blending raw almonds and water.
- Sometimes when you combine the heated flour and almond milk, lumps are formed. You can return the mixture in the blender and pulse for a minute.
