Place them together with the red lentils and garlic in a pot with boiling water. Fold the seasoning into the pot and cook for 15 mins.
When it is ready, put everything in a blender for a few minutes or until smooth.
Serve the soup sprinkled with chopped parsley and enjoy!
Notes
Sometimes we soak the red lentils overnight so they cook really quickly, just for 10 mins.
The soup usually requires more water/vegetable broth when blended than other cream soups. Make sure to put more water when you boil the ingredients. If it is not enough, you may add some hot water.
